Follow these five steps each time.
First, wet your hands with clean tap water (warm or cold water), turn off the faucet, and apply soap.
Second, wipe your hands with soap. On the back of your hand, between your fingers and under your nails.
Third, scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. Need a timer? Sing "Happy Birthday" song twice from beginning to end.
Fourth, rinse by hand under clean tap water.
Fifth, dry your hands with a clean towel or air dry.
